Solvent extraction is developing rapidly and shows a trend of gradually replacing mechanical pressing; production operations are increasingly characterized by large-scale, continuous, and automated processes, while hydraulic oil presses are gradually being phased out of the market.
As living standards rise, greater emphasis is being placed on the quality of edible oils, thereby driving advancements in oil refining technology. However, due to high equipment investment costs and the resulting increase in production expenses, there is currently limited demand among rural farmers.
Over the years, China has made significant strides in oil processing technology and equipment manufacturing. With the advancement of the "Belt and Road Initiative," agricultural cooperation between China and countries such as Russia has deepened; China's mature oil processing technology complements the abundant agricultural resources of partner nations, creating broad prospects for collaboration. The cooperative model involving the export of Chinese oil processing equipment and technology has also expanded to Africa. Advanced Chinese oil processing equipment has been shipped to Kenya and is operating reliably there; the facility processes avocados into crude oil for export back to China, establishing a closed-loop model that encompasses the entire value chain-from equipment export and local plant construction to deep processing and product repatriation.
