Oil processing equipment refers to industrial machinery used for the pretreatment of oilseeds prior to oil extraction, encompassing processes such as cleaning, screening, dehulling, kernel-shell separation, crushing, flaking, conditioning (steaming and roasting), and pre-pressing. This equipment primarily includes systems for oilseed cleaning and pretreatment, oil extraction (such as screw pre-presses and loop extractors), and oil refining. Solvent extraction is increasingly replacing mechanical pressing, with production operations trending toward larger scales, continuous processing, and automation.
On May 9, crude avocado oil from Kenya arrived in Dalian, following the earlier shipment of Chinese oil processing equipment to Kenya, where it has since been put into operation.
In March 2020, complete sets of oil processing equipment-featuring core machinery such as extractors and desolventizer-toasters-were shipped from the Port of Shanghai to Russia; these systems were designed for daily processing capacities of 3,000 tons of soybeans, 2,000 tons of rapeseed, and 2,700 tons of sunflower seeds.
