Waste Rubber Pyrolysis Plant is an intermittent pyrolysis equipment developed by Shangqiu Aotewei Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. for resource-oriented treatment of various waste rubber wastes. It can process multiple rubber-containing raw materials including waste tyres, rubber hoses, conveyor belts, sealing parts, rubber shoes, latex products and rubber scraps, with single-batch capacity ranging from 5 tons to 15 tons. Adopting horizontal rotating reactor together with multi-stage condensation technology, the plant thermally cracks waste rubber into fuel oil, carbon black and steel wire under oxygen-free conditions. Multi-raw-material compatibility for mixed feeding:
The reactor is designed to adapt to waste rubber in various forms. Whole tyres, rubber hoses, adhesive tapes, rubber shoes and factory scraps can be fed directly or after simple cutting. It supports co-pyrolysis of diverse rubber wastes without strict sorting, lowering pre-treatment costs of raw materials.
Multi-stage circulating-water condensation for high oil-gas recovery rate:
Pyrolysis oil-gas goes through multi-stage condensation in large-capacity cooling water tanks with double-inlet & double-outlet hot-dip galvanized heat-exchange tubes. It achieves sufficient liquefaction with minimal loss of light-weight fractions, delivering high fuel-oil recovery as well as stable oil color and calorific value.
Full recycling of combustible gas for high fuel self-sufficiency:
Non-condensable combustible gas (methane, ethane, propane, etc.) generated from pyrolysis is buffered by steam drum, collected via gas storage bag and fully sent back to combustion chamber as auxiliary fuel. It can replace 20%-30% of purchased fuel and greatly cut operating costs.
316L stainless-steel fish-scale sealing to keep workshop odour-free:
Double-layer fish-shape fire baffles plus 316L stainless-steel sealing structure are applied on both ends of furnace body. Its air-tightness outperforms ordinary cast-iron sealing rings. No smoke or unpleasant odour leaks during operation, improving workshop working conditions and meeting environmental-protection inspection requirements.
Normal-pressure / slight negative-pressure operation for intrinsic safety:
The system runs under normal pressure or slight negative pressure without internal pressure load. Equipped with explosion-proof motor, explosion-proof reducer and emergency vent valve, it eliminates over-pressure explosion risks by design. Packing & Shipping
The waste rubber pyrolysis plant is shipped in split bare-metal condition covered with tarpaulin. All flange openings and valve interfaces are sealed with plastic blind plates; motors and electric control cabinets are wrapped with waterproof film. The equipment surface is coated with anti-rust primer and industrial topcoat.
Shipment is made via 40HQ (40-foot high-cube) container vessel.
Lead-time for standard configuration is 45 days upon receipt of advance payment; 60 days for high-end version or special customizations.
FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between waste rubber pyrolysis plant and waste tyre pyrolysis plant?
A: They share the same core principle. Nevertheless, waste rubber pyrolysis plant is optimized in feeding port dimension, internal furnace spiral structure and anti winding design. It handles various rubber wastes such as rubber hoses, adhesive tapes, rubber shoes and latex products with stronger mixed feeding capacity. If raw materials are mainly tyres, customers may select tyre specialized model. For diversified raw materials with big variance in rubber content, the general purpose waste rubber model is recommended.
Q2: Do all kinds of waste rubber deliver the same oil yield?
A: No. Raw materials with high natural rubber content (e.g. latex scraps, unvulcanized rubber) can reach oil yield above 45%. Common waste tyres achieve 38% 45%. Products filled with large amount of fillers (rubber shoe soles, low grade rubber hoses) reach around 30% 38%. We can evaluate based on customer provided raw material samples and give more accurate oil yield expectations.
Q3: To what size should waste rubber be shredded?
A: Whole tyres and large rubber goods are suggested to be cut into blocks of 30 50 cm to improve charging density and pyrolysis uniformity. Small scraps and rubber crumbs can be fed directly. We can supply tyre cutters, rubber shredders and hydraulic feeders as optional accessories to match different raw material forms.
Q4: Will unpleasant odour be generated during processing?
A: The plant is equipped with combustible gas recycling system and flue gas dust removal unit. Under normal operation, furnace keeps well sealed with no obvious odour leakage. Non condensable gas is fully sent into combustion chamber for high temperature incineration to eliminate organic waste gas. For customers with extremely strict environmental protection requirements, activated carbon adsorption and desulfurization devices are available as optional add ons.
Q5: What is the quality of output carbon black and how much can it be sold for?
A: Pyrolytic carbon black from waste rubber features iodine adsorption value of approx. 400 600 mg/g. It can be used as filler for rubber products, cement additive, pigment for ink and coatings. It can also be further ground into fine carbon black. Selling prices vary by region and quality. Bulk crude carbon black is generally priced at several hundred to more than one thousand RMB per ton. Value rises greatly after fine processing.
